I just rented an alto from my band and I realized it had no mouthpiece. I could probably use one of the band ones if I ask but I want to know how much one is ’cause I don’t fancy putting my mouth on one of those things. :/
And I tried looking up some prices, but I couldn’t really find a good answer to my question. Please help.

A basic Yamaha 4C (which I recommend) will run you about 20 dollars, but may be slightly more depending on where you buy it. A Rico Royal Graftonite mouthpiece or a Selmer Goldtone would also be good options, both running about the same price as the 4C.

Just to let you know, all band directors should have disinfectant that they could spray on the mouthpiece if you don’t feel like buying one.
