i know instruments are put in a certain order on a score when written for orchestral instruments but i am unsure which order this is.

i need write a score for these instruments:
pinao
bass clarinet
clarinet
cello and
violin

but i dont know which order to place them on the stave…
does anyone know??

You basically have two options:

Clarinet
Bass Clarinet
Piano
Violin
Cello

This would be orchestral score order.

Putting the piano below the other four instruments would be the other option. This would be appropriate for a small ensemble or if the piano serves only to accompany the other instruments.
