Right now I am Using Rico 2 1/2 Reeds. I was wondering what are the best reeds for playing jazz. What brand and what size. I also wanted to know how I could get more jazzier. Do I need a jazz mouthpiece or do I need a new saxophone. Because I heard my teacher tell me one day, that the saxophone that I am using is a student ones and the one’s that proffesionals use are different. I want to sound like my teacher, Randy Scott. He is a famous saxophone player and he produces records. I want to sound like him and Kenny G. What is the best way of going about playing jazz.
